Background
Richard has over 4 years of consulting experience with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and with Delwood Advisory, advising client executive teams and senior management across Europe and ANZ
He has broad functional expertise in corporate strategy, business transformation and GTM strategy amongst other topics, together with industry experience across Energy, Transport and Industrial Goods
Richard was one of few selected members of the BCG Climate and Sustainability Hub and has led and supported strategic projects across sectors with a focus on the green transition

Energy – Transformation: Supported a multi-stage transformation and portfolio review for subsidiary of a European integrated energy utility. Worked across multiple project phases to identify a range of optimisation levers and worked with key business stakeholders to develop implementation roadmaps
Investment Fund – Operating Model Review: Supported the strategy development and subsequent operating model review and roll-out for a large renewables-dedicated asset manager. The new operating model balanced divisional and centralised resources to ensure continued efficient and sustainable scaling of the platform
Transport – Digital Transformation: Supported the development and launch of an MVP and go-to-market strategy for a new digital services venture of a global maritime player, as part of the client’s broader digital transformation roadmap
Consumer Goods – Operational Improvement: Supported a leading European food production company in optimising operations, focusing on non-FTE cost-out opportunities through rapid diagnostic
Manufacturing – Market Entry: Conducted a market entry analysis and product strategy related to the electrification of off-highway vehicles for a private equity owned industrial goods firm
Energy – GTM Strategy: Developed and executed a commercial go-to-market and carbon offtake strategy for a BECCS solution for a leading biogas player, including early-stage project design and delivery planning
Waste Management – Circularity: Conducted a market and capability assessment for a national deposit return system operator to inform strategy renewal, focusing on service delivery, market opportunities and regulatory alignment
Financial Institution – AML/KYC: Supported design and execution of a digital transformation for an international bank, including in-depth review and design of AML and KYC capabilities for strengthened risk management and compliance
